I think it's fun to scrap about things that are not holiday selebrations or birthday parties, but small happenings in life. This was a fairly big change for me personally, though. To FINALLY dare to cut my long hair short! X3 Go me!

Sci-fi con in Malmö, march 09

I flipped the LO and added a third picture, since the ones with me and the Wolverine poster go well together and wouldn't be as fun without the other.
Ripped the corners of the red paper and inked with black ink.
Scraped the edges of photo and star paper with knife.

The theme for the LO had to refer to "livets goda" (the good things in life), and what tops storm troopers and Hugh Jackman's awesome boodie X3
(The "du vet att du vill" (you know you want to) is written in hacker script..)

I got a gift card to Panduro Hobby from one of my friends for my 20th birthday, with which I bought plastic pockets for my scrap-albums, some papers, ink stamps etc. And, now I finally got to use my new green color stamp to give this LO a rough look.

Scraped photo edges with knife and sand paper.

Sown the buttons (which are bought second hand, of course) and extra stich in the bottom right corner with regular red-brown-ish thread.

Not much to say.
The bg. paper (with lips) are old scraps, and not really as big as to cover the whole area behind the photos, I simply placed them so that it'd look that way ^^ (otherway it'd be a sinful waste of awesome paper! x/)

Was out of "a"s, so I used an upside-down "v" instead..

Instead of having paper, I used three pictures to create motion.

I didn't like some of the distracting elements in the back ground of the pictures, and thought I should have blurred it in PSP, but since it was too late for that, I simply used a knife and sand paper to erase that. Then I used brown ink to darken the corners to make the pictures stand out from the LO.

The pink glittery flowers and tiger were cut out of design papers.

I printed the title on paper using my regular computer printer and darkened the corners with stamp ink.
To make the pictures pop out of the LO, I scraped the corners with a -whatever it's called in english- (nagelfil).

I've been (as always) slow on updates. And, since I'm of from school today (thursday) 'til sunday I'll probably get some serious scrappin' done (yesterday I did two (I was ill and home from school)). So, before I have a zillion pages or so to post, I'll start out with these goodies from the past two months or so. I scrap once in a while.. I should get better on updating my blog, more frequently, with less pages (it takes forever when you have this many -__-'').. Ah, well, here they are..

As you'll see, I scrap in no order, but the pages end up in the right order in the albums, at least ^^; It's more fun to scrap whatever you feel like, and mix old photos with new ones.. Think I'd never finished my old albums otherwise... (mostly) it's more fun to scrap about recent things than stuff that happened 2 years ago..

(april 2009) The dog and I celebrating me turning 20! :3

Finally I got to use those Sassafrass papers I've wanted so long, and finally got my hands on at the scrapbook convention in Helsingborg. I cut out the "20" myself (big letters are ridicciously expensive), stiched the Xs and sew the buttons in place with yarn. Darkened the corners (of pretty much everything) with brown ink.

The pretty swirly paper's from "The Sweet Stack" (which I utterly adore!). I added buttons at the end of the swirls for an extra effect.

Teru and I went scrap-supply shopping and I saw this adorable tool ribbon I really wanted to use as a texture to my LO's, but it was like 16 krs per meter for a 2cm wide tool. But, then I thought "hey! I have some black (and bright pink) tool left over at home since I sew my skirt two years ago!" And, that was 15krs/meter. But, instead of 2 cm, it was 140 cm wide! Think about that! You can get real cheap fabrics for your LO's if you just keep your eyes open!

I wanted to use arrows and buttons as embellishments for this LO.

But, I'd never pay tons of money for buttons in a plastic container at a scrap-store or pre-cut arrows!!

It's real simple to make an arrow!! Just cut one out of cardstock!! And, I buy all my buttons at second hand stores..

Sportsbreak this past week.. didn't get much drawing done, but Saturday and yesterday I really got going with my scrapbooking :D

Ripped paper, inked corners (stamp) and adorable details (stickers). I made the photocorners myself by simply cutting paper squares, then in half and then into the corners.

The band's colors are red and black, and I wanted to write their slogan on the page, but was out of red papers. Also, I did not have any black letters in the apropriate size, plus I wanted a "smeared blood" kind of look to it. So, I finally tried out bubble wrap! :D I've been wanting to ever since I first saw it, but just haven't.. and, I don't have any paint -__-'' .. But, then I asked my room mate if she had any and she has this huge "hobby box" I'm free to use whatever I want, so YAY for Catta! <3>

I had so many good pics. I wanted to use, so I put together two pictures in photoshop and then developed them. :3

I added black paint (with the bubble wrap) on these two old LO as well:

I wanted a white border aroung the pictures, but just plain white cardstock seemed too boring, so I ... well, stiched it all.. took forever but turned out really well! :3

I bought tons of buttons at a second hand store, thinking I might have some use for them, and here we are! A heart around our faces. I wanted a masculine feel to the LO, kinsidering the pictures, and the colors of the buttons are pretty blend, but then.. well.. I guess I failed XD Couldn't help myself, I was so inspired by a LO in "Scrapbooking m.m" and lifted it :3

The car was cut in the picture, and this was really the only good picture of me driving.. But, suddenly I got this great idea that maybe I could draw the car? Colored with markers. And, I think it turned out pretty sweet :3
